Social Media Manager

We are an ambitious and fast-growing boutique luxury sports travel operator, looking for a talented and creative social media expert to help drive awareness of our premium sports travel products.

In addition to a fully flexible set of working arrangements including remote working, hours to suit the needs of the job and your lifestyle and some awesome travel perks, we are offering a generous salary, an annual bonus and many other excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop social media strategies, campaigns and policies for all social platforms, appealing to wildly differing audience demographics and interests but bringing everything together to ensure brand consistency across our social media output
  • Responsibility for the proactive generation of content with licence to be as creative as possible to generate fresh, exciting and daring content
  • Creating highly engaging video content for use on our web site and across all our social media channels
  • Creating longer form corporate video content for promotional purposes at exhibitions, events and sales presentations
  • Creating responsive, dynamic and engaging image and text content across all social platforms, in tune with sporting events as they happen
  • Creating and managing social media policies and standards to ensure consistency of message and adherence to brand guidelines from all members of the team creating content
  • Create consistent ROI and growth across all channels, regularly reporting progress and results to management and using measurable KPIs to form plans for future social growth
  • Help keep the website updated, add new products and improve existing offering in line with the social media campaigns

Skills Required

  • A keen interest in sports including cricket and golf, and particularly the NFL is essential
  • At least two years full time employment in social media management position and a comprehensive demonstrable portfolio of professional social media campaigns
  • Excited to strive for results achieving the maximum organic reach and growth on all social media channels
  • Experienced at filming highly engaging content for web and social media purposes, and using the right video equipment for the social media content creation job at hand
  • Values attention to detail, and able to produce high quality social media videos at a consistent high pace
  • Must have a strong knowledge of the video, audio, graphic & post-production process
  • High professional standards with incredible attention to detail
  • Experienced using Adobe Creative Suite products including Premier & Photoshop
  • Knowledge of WordPress, HTML, Web Design & SEO desirable
  • Most importantly we are looking for a social media guru who is a switched-on, super-enthusiastic quick thinker, willing to work flat out to develop an outstanding professional portfolio with us. A creative self-starter who doesn’t need micromanaging, is happy to work anti-social hours creating highly engaging social content in real time as it happens and is constantly pushing the boundaries of their creativity to generate impressive campaign results

Salary & Benefits

  • A generous salary dependent on experience between £20,000 to £30,000 per annum, with a guaranteed raise following the completion of six months probation, or sooner if you are really impressing!

Sport Travel Consultants

We are an ambitious and fast growing boutique luxury sports travel operator, looking for some experienced full or part time luxury travel consultants to help manage the increasing enquiries for our in-demand sports products.

Office based in the town centre of Hertford, we are offering a generous pro rata salary, excellent commission and bonuses, highly flexible working hours and many other excellent benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert travel advice to new enquiries & existing customers, converting those enquiries into bookings
  • Prospect and generate new leisure and corporate business opportunities
  • Develop tailor made luxury travel itineraries for clients on all different types of holidays
  • Liaising with customers to convert into bookings, taking payments for bookings, completing paperwork and administration of CRM system for managing bookings
  • Managing all aspects of booking travel including flights, hotels, transfers, tickets etc
  • Existing account management and product up-sales
  • Assistance with arranging supplier events, trade shows and marketing opportunities throughout the year
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks to help with the day to day running of the business

Skills Required

  • Attitude is everything
  • You need to be a customer service champion, with excellent verbal and written communication skills and be highly presentable
  • High professional standards with incredible attention to detail
  • Sales driven with excellent sales experience within the travel industry, ideally in a Tour Operator environment
  • Extremely well organised, used to working to deadlines and managing multiple projects, clients and suppliers at the same time
  • Knowledge and an interest in sports an advantage
  • Experience using GDS an advantage

Salary & Benefits

  • A pro rata starting salary of £21,000 rising to £26,000 upon completion of 6 month’s probation, or sooner if you are really impressing!

  • Flexible and sociable working hours, not working Saturdays/Weekends (except in occasional unusual circumstances or if travelling)
