What it is

Performing under the bright lights of Las Vegas

Most dance trips end with a performance to an audience of parents. This one ends with your dancers on the pitch at Allegiant Stadium as part of the live event, in front of the crowd that has come for the NRL and Super League. That is a different thing entirely, and it is why the hundred and fifty who went in February came home talking about nothing else.

Everything around it is handled as one programme. Four nights on the Strip, every transfer, the rehearsals, the welcome reception and the wrap party.

  1. Day 01 · Wednesday

    Arrive in Las Vegas

    Touch down in Las Vegas, where our representatives will meet you at the airport and show you straight to your vehicle. The evening is yours: explore the hotel and take your first walk down the Strip, or if the journey has caught up with you, grab something delicious from Eataly right inside the Park MGM and head for bed.

  2. Day 02 · Thursday

    Welcome reception, then the first rehearsal

    The morning opens with the welcome reception: meet your fellow performers over a healthy breakfast, with inspirational talks setting up the days ahead. Then board the coaches to the rehearsal venue at a local college, where the Leap X choreography team leads a full rehearsal programme. The evening is at leisure to enjoy the Strip.

  3. Day 03 · Friday

    Rehearsals, then the wrap party on the Strip

    A second day in rehearsals as the routine comes together. Then the night everyone has been waiting for: the wrap party on the Las Vegas Strip. A VIP red carpet welcome, mocktails on arrival, gourmet food, a selection of drinks, a live DJ spinning the tunes, a 360 photobooth, Instagram moments everywhere you look, and much, much more.

  4. Day 04 · Saturday

    Game day

    Preparation in the morning, game face on. Arrive at the stadium by VIP coach for an Olympics-style introduction and entry to the field before the game, an in-seat performance up on the big screen, and the main event: a full on-field performance between the NRL games. Three performances in one unforgettable day of action.

  5. Day 05 · Sunday

    Departure day

    Our Elite Sports Travel reps coordinate your departure from the team hotel. Not ready for it to end? Extension options are available for more adventures in Las Vegas, or onwards to Los Angeles, San Francisco or even the east coast.

It is the only fully non-smoking resort and casino on the Strip, which for a party of young people travelling with their teachers is the single most reassuring fact about it.

The property is compact and easy to navigate, so dancers aren’t trekking across an enormous casino floor to reach their rooms. Eataly and a good spread of restaurants are on site, the main entertainment venues are next door, and the rooms are modern, comfortable and sensibly priced against the hotels either side of it.
