The weekend

Two of the great football cities, one week

Everton against Newcastle, then Manchester United against Brighton, and the week between them in two cities that live for the game. The first match is at Everton’s new stadium on the Mersey at Bramley-Moore Dock, the most talked-about ground in the country. The second is at Old Trafford, which needs no introduction.
