Augusta, properly

There is nowhere in sport quite like it

You know it from the television: the hush on the tee, the pines, the roar that rolls up from Amen Corner and tells the whole course that something has happened. In person it is more than you expect. The slopes are steeper, the greens faster, the colours deeper, and the whole place is kept with a care you can feel underfoot.

It is also the hardest ticket in golf. Tournament badges are never on general sale, and the yearly ballot is a lottery almost nobody wins. A Masters week is built on relationships, years of them, and on knowing exactly how Augusta works.

That is what we bring. Elite Sports Travel has been taking private clients and corporate groups to Augusta for years, with guaranteed access badges, hosted hospitality minutes from the gates and a team on the ground from the moment you land. Every trip is shaped around you: which days, which courses, how much of the week is the golf and how much is everything else. Tell us how you picture it and we will build it properly.

What it’s actually like

You walk through the gates and the noise of the world drops away. The grass is impossibly green, the azaleas are out, and somewhere down at Amen Corner a roar is building. You’re not watching the Masters any more. You’re inside it.

  • Patrons streaming past the Masters scoreboard in the sunshine.Inside the gatesThe hush on the first tee, the roar from Amen Corner. Nothing on television comes close.
  • A Masters programme and an Elite Sports Travel card on the Augusta grass. The only shop on earthMasters merchandise is sold at Augusta National and nowhere else. Your badge is the only way in.
  • The Augusta National clubhouse from the lawn, umbrellas out on the balcony.Where golf keeps its historyMagnolia Lane, the clubhouse, the green jacket. You stand where every champion has stood.

The packages

Choose how you want to do it

We’ve suggested a few ways to do the week, and every one of them is a starting point. Extend the trip, add a road trip, play more golf, take in the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head the week after, or do something nobody has asked us for yet. Tell us what the perfect Masters trip looks like and we will build it.

A starting point

One way we’d do it

Five days built around the Lake Oconee week. Yours will be shaped around you.

  1. Day 01 · Thu 8 Apr

    Arrive Atlanta

Land in Atlanta and transfer to the five-star St Regis for a relaxed first night. Settle in, eat well and sleep off the flight before the week begins.

  2. Day 02 · Fri 9 Apr

    Down to Lake Oconee

Collect your luxury SUV and drive south to Reynolds Lake Oconee, your home for three nights at the Ritz-Carlton. Play your first round that afternoon on one of the resort’s championship courses, then watch the close of Friday’s play from the bar by the lake.

  3. Day 03 · Sat 10 Apr

    Magnolia Club and Augusta National

Board your transportation to the Magnolia Club for an all-day hospitality experience, and when you’re ready take the shuttle to Augusta National for Saturday’s play. Head back to the club for more refreshment and entertainment before returning to Reynolds.

A Masters patron badge held up against the course.
  4. Day 04 · Sun 11 Apr

The final round and the green jacket

Return to the Magnolia Club and on to Augusta National for the final round. Watch the back nine decide the Masters, stay for the green jacket presentation, then back to the Ritz-Carlton for a last night by the lake.
