The weekend

Six kilometres of city, raced at full throttle

Baku is the fastest street circuit in the sport: a two-kilometre blast along the seafront, then a squeeze through the walls of the medieval Old City where the track narrows to barely a car’s width. The lap rewards the brave and punishes the rest, and it has produced some of the most chaotic races of the modern era. Safety cars, late restarts and surprise winners are the Baku signature, every year.

The city is the other half of the appeal. The Flame Towers light up the skyline at night, the Old City is a UNESCO site you can walk in an hour, and the restaurants along the Boulevard put the Caspian in front of you. We book the hotels inside the circuit perimeter, the grandstands and the hospitality, and an Elite host is on hand throughout. Nothing is left for you to arrange.

What it’s actually like

The cars come off the seafront at 340 kilometres an hour, thread the castle walls and vanish into the Old City. From the grandstand you feel the air move. Baku is a street race with the volume turned all the way up.

Why Elite

The hotels inside Baku’s circuit perimeter are the ones to have, and they are allocated long before the public sale. We hold them, along with the grandstands at the Old City walls and the hospitality above the pit straight. Tell us how you want the weekend to run and we will put it together.
