“I’d never been on an organised trip like this before, and as a single traveller I was slightly nervous about booking on my own, but I can honestly say that I couldn’t recommend Elite Sports Travel more highly.

Uptown Charlotte is packed with excellent restaurants, rooftop bars, breweries, and live music venues, while attractions such as the NASCAR Hall of Fame and Romare Bearden Park offer plenty to see during the day. Whether you’re looking to relax, enjoy some Southern hospitality, or soak up the city’s growing sporting culture, there’s no shortage of ways to spend your time before the NFL action begins.

For those wanting even more football, we can also arrange tickets for the local college football game taking place between South Carolina Gamecocks & Texas A&M, a fantastic chance to experience the unique atmosphere and traditions of American college football firsthand. From the tailgates to the marching bands and passionate fanbases, it’s an unforgettable addition to the weekend for any sports fan.

The city also has a strong food and drink scene, with excellent breweries, coffee shops, and restaurants spread across downtown and the North Loop, making it ideal for a relaxed day of exploring between game experiences.

In the evening, the group will come together for one of the highlights of the trip: an exclusive drinks event hosted by Neil Reynolds at a local upscale venue, joined by a special guest from the NFL world. With complimentary drinks and light nibbles included, it’s a relaxed and intimate setting that consistently stands out as a client favourite, offering rare insight, stories, and conversation you simply wouldn’t get elsewhere.
