Drama in Doha
The Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix 2025 was first held in 2021, and it quickly became one of the most exciting and prestigious races on the calendar.
The circuit for the Doha Grand Prix is located in the Lusail International Circuit, which is a state-of-the-art facility that was purpose-built for motorsport. The track is 5.38 km long, and it features 16 turns, including a long straight that allows the cars to reach high speeds of up to 309km/h!
Following a complete makeover, the track is well set up for the thousands of visitors over race weekend!
Downtime in the city
Spending the weekend in Doha for the F1? There’s plenty to enjoy beyond the track. Take a stroll along the Corniche and soak in the city’s skyline, then check out the stunning Museum of Islamic Art or the National Museum of Qatar for a hit of culture.

I have just returned from the Qatar Grand Prix booked with Elite Sports Travel and what a weekend it was. Communication from the team was top notch throughout and the standard of accommodation provided was excellent! Tickets at the track were great and the added bonus of complimentary Geneva motor show tickets were a nice touch.
